i offer no proof nor recorded instant but a dent in the heart
late one afternoon, inspiration has kicked in —like a drunken man.
like the moon my heart shows wear but i shine on
bring on the broken – this cosmos is my witness to drunken dreams
a reflection of the soul’s source – worn as a cloak glistens like wet silk
too bright the truth – mortal eyes prefer to gaze into her pool of stars
diving blindly deep but striving to hit bottom awaiting iris
as if a tear drop finding its own way back home
PS – I know that is not necessarily anatomically correct… but neither is Ken.
hmm… that explains so much then…
reverse video where sadness leads to laughter and credits roll first
jump into the sea floating and flowing upstream into the snow pack
watch the lakes rise up, drop by drop onto the sky. like pearls of welkin.
without looking back into the vaults of heaven they disappear
